"Wait a while before buying one"
Feature:Love the PC connectivity and the ability to store loops on the compact flash card. Really miss the fade-out and reverse features of the Boss RC-20XL.
Quality:
Sorry folks...the JamMan just isn't quite ready as a reliable, live performance tool yet. Using a high-capacity compact flash card (1GB), my loops were consistently corrupted after about the 5th or 6th overdub. I tried several brand new cards and even returned the JamMan in exchange for another one. Same problem. The thing is built like a tank. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the problem with corrupted loops means that it's just not reliable enough to use in a live performance. Let's hope DigiTech fixes this problem right away.
Value:
A bit spendy, considering you would most likely need to buy a higher-capacity compact flash card and, for some, the optional foot switch.
Desirability:
Looks nice. If you've played with the Boss RC-20XL, the design is very similar. Unfortunately, I can't say "I Want It" until the bugs are ironed out.
Sound:
The sound quality is great. The built-in limiter can be a good or bad thing. I've tried storing full background tracks on it and it works great for that. I understand the reason they went strictly mono but a stereo option would be nice (can't even play stereo WAV files on the CF card).
Ease of Use:
No need to read the owner's manual here. Good interface.
Support:
DigiTech is very quick to respond to my emails. It's just that they're not much help. I imagine the phone support just doesn't have enough first-hand experience with the products.
Overall:
I was so excited to get the JamMan. Unfortunately, my hopes were bashed when I discovered it was consistently corrupting my loops when I started overdubbing several parts (especially loops of faster tempos). You can check out the discussion on Yahoo's JamMan discussion group, for more details. I had to exchange the first JamMan for another one due to the bug. The second unit will be going back to the store for a refund tomorrow. I would strongly recommend holding off on getting a JamMan right now. Give DigiTech a year or so to work out the bugs first. I think the only reason we're not seeing some of the others complain about this problem in their reviews is just because they haven't discovered it yet. However, it's there.

"Get it and if you don't like it... You will trust me."
Feature:Compared to the other bran which was my first option, this one has extra features that are priceless, like for example the USB integration and the Flash card. I was amazed by how easy is for me to get loops ready in my studio and load them to this puppy, also to record and overdub loops on the go (stage) is very easy, just a click away plus the option of auto recording.
Quality:
this is my first digitech product, I had once a pedal and broke shortly after I bought it, so that kept me from buying this looper, however looks very well built, looks goodand so far has handeled my demands, I use it a lot
Value:
for the money you get a lot
Desirability:
I bought a looper to experiment and as of today is my favorite pedal
Sound:
What comes in Comes out and also gives you the option of telling the device what can of amplification this thing is comning out of so impossible to complaint here.
Support:
Never talked to them before so not sure
Overall:
If this one breaks I'd buy the same one.
