"Incredible value....where was this in 1980??"
Feature:did get the power supply....I hear it eats batteries on a daily basis!! Distortion galore!!
Quality:
easy to understand and use after a few minutes. Tip....write downn your prefered settings unless you have a great photographic memory!. There are TONS of options on each bank
Value:
incredible deal and has everything you need
Desirability:
metal casing or some durable rubber finish to protect it would be nice.......only drawback in live setting is if you need to swith from one sound bank to another be careful...the numbers fly if u suppress the pedal. Also, I program a clean sound and my general sound numerically sequential in order to go back & forth......not ideal for live performance ....Also...I addedrubber skid stoppers on the bottom to prevent the unit from sliding all over the place!!cheap fix!
Sound:
extremely versatile but you will need to tweak the factory presets. Writig down the good settings helps as it seems the possibilities are quite endless. I would have spent a fortunes trying to accumulate some of these effects now all here in one. There are some good surprises too like volume swells, rotary cabinet (similar to a leslie cab), amp & pickup modeling. Is an excellent device to record direct to board. I use this straight into a Fostex VF160 with amazing results. Do buy yourself a "Y" plug to run the unit in stereo.

Overall:
an unbeatable value......make more during and switchable banks and you have the product of the year here

DigiTech RP50 Customer Review
Feature:The rp50 offered many features. the one i enjoyed best was the built in chromatic tuner. it is very effective and accurate and easy to use and understand.
Quality:
the rp50 is very sturdy and reliable. i've dropped it several times and the performance is still like new.
Value:
a great pedal for the money. worth every penny
Desirability:
the rp50 has a sleek design.
Sound:
The RP50 offers a nice, crisp sound on all of its amp modeling effects. the EQ feature and the humbucker/single coil modelling are also very realistic.
Ease of Use:
the rp50 is very easy to use and understand. a quick skim of the booklet and you're set.
Support:
i have not had to deal with Digitech for any sort of problem, so i give it a five

"Great Pedal A++++++++++++++++++!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Feature:I got an AC adapter with mine, and i like it better even though you get 15 hours on battery power. I wish it would've come with a carrying case, but if you willing to send $12.95 to Digitech for their "gig pak" you can do that too. In that package you get picks, a digitech instrument cable, and gig bag for your size pedal, and guitar strings.
Quality:
It seems good and solid, don't pound on it but it will withstand some beatings.
Value:
its worth about what I paid ($60.00). the RP80 with the expression pedal is $80.00 so I thought what I paid was fair
Desirability:
I just love it, its a great pedal for me! I just wished you could make rotary speaker go faster, and some other ones move faster to, who knows, maybe you can and I haven't figured it out yet :)
Sound:
IT is great for a starting pedal. I just got mine a few days ago but man alive...it rocks. with 80 effecs (40 factory/cant be modified, and 40 user/can be modified) you should never worry about running out of room. sounds great! if you want something a little heavier or with a expression pedal get the i think its the rp80. or if your goin for huge spend $600.00 on a GNX4. I just can't say enough about the rp50...its a great pedal
Support:
I have'nt needed support yet, and probably won't, just the same I'm going to send in the warrenty.
Overall:
I would replace or get its big brother the RP80 if stolen. I think I will be able to use it for at least two more years, if not more.
