"DIGITECH RP 500 IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST"

Value:
yes

Desirability:
This fits any music genre, no matter what. Take my word for it. In my younger years I used the Rp 12, Later I switched to rp50, rp200, Now I used the rp 150 and Rp500 with my other digitech pedals.

Sound:
The best multi-effect unit on the market. I tried Line 6 pods etc., Boss, Zoom , and many others but this is the best by far. I love the many different distorions, and effects it has. It's like having a bunch of stompboxes, (which I used and use with he 500). I've ran it through 2 amps for stereo and other speakers. I just love it.

Support:
yes. no problems

Overall:
My rig is finally completed. Unless they make an Rp 1000, but other than that no.

Feature:
It's not as flexible as say the newest POD, however for live performances, this thing is exactly what I was looking for.

Quality:
Very sturdy, fit and finish could be just a tad better, but over all seems like a hefty piece.

Value:
Great product, and the best in this price range.

Sound:
The effects are fantastic for a digital effects unit. Even some of the cabinet/amp sims are decent, but this is not why I bought this unit. I am running this with a JSX head and simply wanted the effects.

Ease of Use:
Very easy to program... this is my first multieffects unit and was a pro at programing in about 1/2 hour.

Support:
N/A

Overall:
I'll probably keep this for a good long time... it does everything I want it to. If I got more heavily involved with studio work, I could see putting this aside, but for live applications this thing rocks!
