"I love my 3/4 Dean Playmate!"
Feature:
Great value for the money. This guitar is spartan, but so is the price.
Quality:
Again, for the price? HOLY COW! Plays and sounds good for a cheapie. Not really a stage guitar, but great for practice and chops building.
Sturdy little bugger too. I got this guitar to keep my playing up while bedridden from 11/04-2/05, so it got banged around a fair bit because of my tight quarters during that time.Nary a acratch to show from some fairly rough use. I love the thing and qrote a lot of songs with it!
Value:
$60 for the use I got (and still get)out of this thing? Are you kidding? It's the best deal I have seen in a long time.It would be a bargain at twice the price, but don't get any ideas, Dean.
Desirability:
It's a workhorse and practice tool, not a Ferrari. I still ove it just like it is.
Sound:
Sound is really full for a guitar its size. Beats the snot out of the Martin Backpacker I used to have. Not a replacement for a full size guitar, but still gets a nice Robert Johnson tone!
Support:
Well, if there was a problem, the guitar was so cheap I'd toss it and get another one. But have heard good things about Dean customer service.
Overall:
For what it was purchased for, (companion for the bedridden player)it couldn't be better. I stillmuse it for my songwriting companion and expect to do so for quite some time.
