"Best product of its kind but kinda pricey."
Sound:
The sound is very good.
Feature:
It included a 1/8" to 1/4" conversion plug so the head phones could be used on a traditional stereo amplifier or receiver.
Ease of Use:
The sound is good, but the noise attenuation is only fair.
I did expect a bit more in that department.
Quality:
Decent overall quality.
The headband adjustment doesn't stay adjusted between uses - which is pretty annoying.
Manufacturer Support:
No.
Value:
This is a good product, but I2O dollars is a bit high for such a simple and ordinarily made device.
The Wow Factor:
Pretty plain, in fact.
It's basic black.
Overall:
2 years or so.
This was the only product of its kind I could find.
Noise cancelling headphones dominate the market.
This isn't the best hearing protection one could find.
I don't need the best headphones acoustically.
I live in N.Y.C. and take the subway every day.
The noise of the trains is deafening and I like to listen to recorded stories as I travel to work.
So I need hearing protectors with headphone capability.
These headphones generally fit the bill.
However, for I2O dollars I think 2 cords - one meter and three meter - ought to have been included.
Since the cord is the part which is most likely to be damaged, interchangable cords would have been really useful.
Having written all that, these headphones work pretty well.
For the ordinary listener these are the best all around headphones I could find.
One can use them for ordinary stereo listening at home, listen to the T.V. without the sound bothering other family members, and listen on an airplane or other noisy environments.
The bottom line is that these headphones are better than any but the best noise cancelling ones at blocking noise and having good acoustics.
