"The All-In-One Solution to Personal Recording"
Feature:
You're not going to find a product with all of the features of the Gina3G within $300 of its pricerange. There are a lot of audio interfaces out there and a lot of midi interfaces, but few that feature both AND XLR inputs with phantom power. This is a real find.
Quality:
It seems pretty sturdy. The interface is encased in a metal shell.
Value:
It's hard to compare this product to others as many fall short in terms of comparable features. Echo is really in a class of its own.
Sound:
This is what you expect from a quality PCI audio interface. The sound quality is indistinguishable from my digital audio workstation. The PCI soundcard features ultra-low latency recording capabilities, and the Gina is a perfect solution to anyone looking for ASIO 2.0 compatible hardware.
Ease of Use:
The set-up was pretty straightforward, and the use has not been more difficult than I anticipated.
Support:
I havent had to use support yet.
Overall:
The Gina3G has everything I'm looking for. I have a 16-track audio workstation with 8 inputs, but in all honesty, I'm not going to be recording live band sessions anytime soon. With the Gina, you can record 2 inputs simultaneously, and with the advent of computer-based recording and sequencing, you really don't need much more than that.
