"Great Value"

Sound:

The Built in Pre-amps on this thing are very transparent and clear. (Keep in mind that this is a <<500$ unit) I am not comparing it to a Lunatec V2. and if you want oade brothers will do deveral different pre-amp mods to this unit to make it dound even better.

Feature:

features are supurb, 24bit/96k and the option of mixing the rear RCA Inputs realtime is a great plus. CONS > No level meteres except a "peak" LED at -3db The Input sensitivity knobs are Very sensitive, there is a "sweet spot" around the 1-2'ockock postition that works best. Digital Output is not possible unless hooked up to a computer (there is an Oade Brothers Mod to fix this for stand alone use) the Digital Input re-samples.

Quality:

Great quality, built like a tank

Manufacturer Support:

I have never had problems with the unit, before I bought it I talked several times directly with there tech support to find out if the unit dod what I wanted, they are real humans that know there stuff.

Value:

they should charge more, it is the swiss army knife of mic preamps/ad converters/computer interfaces.

The Wow Factor:

I own one, but if you want it for stand alone field use, be prepaired to modify it yourself or have someone else do it for you.

Overall:

if I went strictly on value it would be a 10, but I am compairing it to a 1300$ unit
