"Great... until it Died!"
Sound:
Sounds excellent. Reminds me of a Fender amp that I have previously used. It doesn't alter the tone too terribly like many reverb effects. It sounds better than any other reverb pedal that I've used. The settings are simple and dynamic.
Feature:
Features 3 types of reverb and one depth knob. Pretty basic.
Ease of Use:
You plug it in and go. The big knob determines how much reverb you get. The switches change the sound. EASY.
Quality:
At first, it appeared as if this tank of a pedal was indestructible... but on closer review, the metal cover didn't line up with the lower half of the box. Also, one of the grommets was a different type (3 were flat and one was round). After owning it for 8 days, the effects died and now it acts as an expensive volume attenuator. I'm taking it back to Guitar Center in a couple days for a replacement.
Manufacturer Support:
I emailed Electro Harmonix and they haven't responded yet. I'm assuming Guitar Center will give me a replacement pedal for this non-functional one.
Value:
It's a decent price for a great-sounding pedal. Wish the reliability was similar to the Boss pedals.
The Wow Factor:
It's a sweet looking pedal. Isn't that basic box like a Boss or Ibanez.
Overall:
Mine died and I'm going to get a replacement. It sounded excellent and looked great on my pedalboard. Can't wait until I go back to GC to pick up my new one.
