"Fair review from someone who doesn't want to sound exactly like Nirvana."
Sound:
Nice fatty chorus. Even though it has become synonymous with Cobain, this peddle is capable of much more than a "nirvana sound". It is surprisingly versatile. The rate knob is very sensitive giving you more options than you would think at first glance. Add distortion and you'd better be ready to rock! Probably sounds better than other peddles that cost more. If your amp has a built in chorus effect, you can use them together to produce some of the craziest sounds you've heard from your amp.
Feature:
Durability alone should earn it a 10 here, but....
I suggest buying the AC adapter. You don't have as many options as some peddles(knobs and such), but it gives you more sound than you'd think, and the quality of the sound will outdo the rest.
Quality:
I noticed someone said it would run down in 3 years. That's unfair to say. This is one of the mose durable peddles out there. I don't see any reason why this thing would ever break. It'd break your toe before you broke it. Sound quality is phenomenal--unmatched in my opinion.
Manufacturer Support:
Not sure here, but it's a reputable company. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Free warranty.
Value:
Value defines this one. I got mine for under $80, and for the durability and sound quality that's a steal. Can't say enough about it's uniqueness.
The Wow Factor:
Go to the store and stare at it for a while. Play it one time and you'll see why I gave it a "10" here.
Overall:
Overall, it's the best chorus for the lowest price. The only other chorus I would use now would be the more expensive model from E.H.
