Style of Music: Rock and Country

"Good sound but made cheap!"

Sound:

I was really satisfied with the sound of this monitor. It has a clean, tight sound with just enough bass. It sounded good for vocals or music.

Feature:

This monitor has only the speakon inputs. It would be better to have the option of 1/4 inch or speakon inputs.

Ease of Use:

You can adjust your EQ to get a great sound from this EV monitor. But I found if you use this monitor with a different brand monitor (i.e. Peavey) it's hard to get a good sound from both monitors using one EQ.

Quality:

This EV monitor sounds great, looks good, it's light, but not very rugged. I'm returning it for another brand after carrying it from my house to my truck ( first gig with monitor, probably first time carried since removed from box) and the handle screw pulls out of the monitor.

Manufacturer Support:

Didn't bother with to check with Electro Voice. Obviously not made well.

Value:

If it had a good handle that wouldn't pull out, I'd say it was a fair price.

The Wow Factor:

It has a different look than most brands.

Overall:

This EV monitor sounds good, looks good, it's light, but I got to have a handle I can depend on or wear steel toed shoes, it's going back.
