"Great lead vocal mic"

Feature:
Great rubberized grip that makes holding the mic easy, reduces the risk of dropping and reduces handling noise.

Quality:
Great build quality. Internally the mic cartridge is a work of art. The suspension leverages natural rubber to reduce handling and vibration noise pickup.

Value:
Reduces the need for feedback destroyer add ins to sound reinforcement system. Sound and construction is great.

Desirability:
Distinctive retro look.

Sound:
Great projection through the mix. This mic makes the difference between a thick mix and one that is clear.

Ease of Use:
Plug it in and use it. Hypercardoid design radically reduces feedback.

Support:
Web site includes manual and service manual.

Overall:
I would buy this again.

"onesweetvocalmic!"

Feature:
The pop filters in this mic allow it to remain clean and never "boomby" even under the hardest metal vocal conditions and the soft grip and detents in the clip are a lifesaver on the stage.

Quality:
High quality construction/this is one tough mic/loves to travel.

Value:
For this money a mic of half the quality is expected. I didn't believe how good this mic was the first time I bought one.

Desirability:
It's like holding your best friend's girl. Sweet and sinfully good at the same time.

Sound:
I've had experience with many mics over the years and have used sm57's & sm58's because of their quality and value. That was until I put them next to the 767a. This mic sounds head and shoulders above the other mics in this price range and cuts through the mix with even the weakest voices. It's response is clear and clean and can be pushed well beyond the other mics before feeding back.

Overall:
I can't see myself buying any other vocal mic. This one is the mic for me. My 767a goes everywhere with me. EV, I'm yours forever.
