"God Bless the Red, White and Blue!!!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
Its hard to say. The speaker has a simple to install design even with an old amp.

    Quality:
    Perfect in every way.

    Value:
This quality for this cost. Unbeleavable.

    Desirability:
O.K. its a speaker. Let's not get too excited.

    Sound:
I came across an old Ampeg Tube amp circa 1965. The original speaker was a Jensen that distorted on the sustain of bass strings. I wanted to keep the vintage tone of the amp when replacing this speaker. The Red, White and Blue was perfect. Crisp and Clean. Meaty bottom end while not sacrificing top end sparkle. It kept the vintage tone and even enhanced it.

    Ease of Use:
Great. It slipped right in place and the whole replacement process took about 1/2 hour. The old speaker was hard wired to the amp, so connecters had to be installed.

    Support:
I never had a problem with it so it's had to say. The Eminence web site was very helpful in choosing a speaker.

    Overall:
Old amps are often problematic. replacement parts are hard to find, and when you do find them the can have an adverse effect on the sound that you wanted. The Patriot and Red Coat series of speakers replicate the old tones while providing the strength and durability that todays music requires. Thank Eminence.
