Not much to say about using a guitar case . . . you either do or you don't!

Quality:

This product, a specialty hard shell case for the Epiphone ES-175 guitar, is exactly what it's advertised to be: a custom-fit, hard shell case for THIS guitar. The case is, indeed, quite sturdy; it fits the guitar perfectly; it is plush-lined; the hinges are strong and operate smoothly; and the clasps are numerous and well-machined, with one of them being lockable. It also has the word "Epiphone" stenciled on the side, which looks quite nice. The reason it's receiving a rating of 9 instead of 10 is because the vinyl covering is fairly smooth, instead of the more typical stippled or rough tolex finish found on many good guitar cases. As such, I believe this case will show scuffs, scratches and general "road wear" much sooner than your average case. Still, for the price, it's quite a beefy case; just be careful with it on the road and it should last quite a long time!
