Epiphone 50th Anniversary 1961 SG Special Outfit Electric Guitar with Gig Bag Customer Review

    Sound:
Great sounding P-90's dont dissapoint here. Really really nice tonal quality. The wrap around tailpiece was a big draw for me. You can't get an exact intonation on all the strings...but if you can notice this, you should pay for more than a 400.00 guitar.
    Feature:
Straight forward 3 way toggle with volume and tone for each pickup.
    Ease of Use:
Has a wide fretboard in my opinion. Not a problem...just an observation.
    Quality:
This is where I have an issue. The fretboard seems to have been tinted or painted to make the rosewood look darker...but it comes off on my fingers. I put lemon oil on the fretboard, like I do on every rosewood fretboard guitar I own, and this is the first one to continually leave my fingers dark. Even after a week.
    Value:
Pretty darn good value for the money. Got mine for 290.00 as blemished. I didnt notice anything though...except for the fretboard.
    The Wow Factor:
I love the TV Yellow...though the dark red is most associated with the SG's.
