    "A kick axe guitar!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
Naturally, the stock strings were useless so either buy a set of extra light 12 string guitar strings or ask that they throw in a set.

    Quality:
Again for the money, first rate. After playing this guitar I'm glad I didn't buy the Gibson. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have the Gibson but for $3000.00+ less, this guitar is a great value.

    Desirability:
C'mon...You carry this baby on stage and you're the star!

    Sound:
Excellent sound from the Alnico pickups. I thought I would have to upgrade to a better pickup but these work well.

    Ease of Use:
The guitar is an excellent value for the money. The action is set perfectly, no buzzing frets and the finger touch is very light.

    Support:
    Did not need support.

    Overall:
Overall I'm happy with the product. The only real down sides are: 1: The guitar is a little heavy. 2)One of the toggle switches did not work properly but was fixable at home. 3)The guitar is very unbalanced and falls to the headstock side when you let go. A rough sided, padded strap helps cause friction at the shoulder which fixes 80% of the problem. You will still need to keep your right forearm on the rear or the guitar to balance it. Other than that this is a kick ass piece of gear and I'm glad I bought it.

"Seen a lot better for a lot cheaper."

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

    Feature:
Whoever put the 6/12 switch where it is apparently never tried to play this guitar. I can't believe this is a Gibson idea.

    Quality:
I have been playing a guitar for 52 years and this has to be the worst one I've ever bought. The action is so high you could lose your fingers in the strings. The frets on the 6 string could cut your fingers. The nut seems too high also. My grandson's Hondo has better action than this guitar.

    Value:
Absolutely not. It should have sold for about half this price considering the workmanship involved.

    Desirability:
No doubt this will be a good guitar someday but I am completely disgusted with the way it came from the factory.

    Sound:
I really can't say much about the sound. I haven't been able to play it to it's fullest yet.

    Overall:
I'll probably keep this guitar forever. Don't know if I'll ever to get to play it though. Needs a lot of work. I own another Epiphone that I've had for 40 years. I was shocked at the bad quality of this new one.
