"A Converted Epiphone Owner"
Feature:
I started out with the Vintage Sunburst, but the neck was twisted, so they had to send it back to the factory. The replacement I got was a natural, but I found the action very high, and the sound wasn't quite right. I took it back, and the dealer had another one in stock, also natural, but the action and the sound were right on...so that is the one I have. The workmanship is excellent. I can now say nothing negative about this guitar.
Quality:
Workmanship is excellent. It has a little darker colour than other naturals I've looked at. The tuners are Grover. I expect this guitar will outlast me.
Value:
Well worth the selling price.
Desirability:
This is a very 'pretty guitar' all the way around. It's a little darker colour than others I have seen, which makes it sort of unique.
Sound:
Sounds great by itself. Put Martin SP+ light strings on it for a little warmer sound. With a Rare Earth Humbucking pickup, plugged into a Fender Acoustasonic Amp, it's the closest I've been able to get to an amplified acoustic sound.
Support:
Other than at the outset, finding the right one, I have not had to deal with the company or any repairs.
Overall:
I won't replace this guitar unless something drastic happens to it. I considered a Washburn, but there were non available. I'm glad, because I'm quite pleased with this guitar, and the price was better.
