Epiphone Masterbilt DR500ME Acoustic-Electric Guitar Customer Review

Sound:

I ordered this Guitar and the AJ 500 RE model , the difference between the 699 dollar and this own at 549 is minimal at best and sometimes I feel this model has a better sound. I play all kinds of music, Pop, Rock and Roll, Country, Folk, Blues and these Epiphone masterbilts are as good or better than high end guitars. I also own a Martin DC16GTE ascoustic electric and i actually like these better. I have a Guld GAD 50 E which has a richer tone but for everyday music these can't be beat.

Even though this guitar is made in China, probably at the new plant, it has a feel of a hand made guitar , excellent quality, great electronics and super material

Style of Music: Country, Gospel, and Bluegrass

Sound:

The tone of the guitar I have sounds like a Gibson. I play bluegrass and Gospel music and when plugged in to my Crate acoustic amp, it sounds great.

Feature:

The guitar came with a Shadow, Nanoflex, pre-amp system. it did not have any insturctions on how to adjust the blend or other features it has.

Overall:

I expect to keep it.
