"You've got to hear it, play it to believe it."

    Feature:
I rated the guitar a nine because it does not have the fancy Gibson block inlays on the fret board or the high gloss finish, however, this is a handsome guitar with that solid rosewood back and sides, solid spruce top, bone nut and saddle, rosewood finger board X Bracing. The feature are adequate and very high quality.

    Quality:
This guitar is constructed overseas with Gibson craftsmen overseeing the construction. This should not be a major concern when the quality of the guitar is so excellent for the price. The finsh is satin top side and back but the finish has character and appeal. because of the all solid wood, care should be excercised when traveling. This is true of any solid wood instruement. For the price, a pro can take it on the road, if the thing desintegrates, he can go by three or four more before he has paid the price for a high end Gibson, Taylor or Martin. So take it and play it.

    Value:
Where else can you get a stage worthy guitar with professional apointments for five fifty?

    Desirability:
Satin finish, what else is there to say. If you are looking for glitter then forget this fine instruemnt. There are some beautifull dogs out there. Go buy a dog.

    Sound:
The sound is full and balanced. Rich, deep, loud base, strong mids and bright highs. This is definitely a professional instruement sound. Great for acoustic lead or struming. The guitar will compete with the higher end Gibsons , Martins and Taylors. The sound is more Gibson, Taylor mix, yet it is all old Epiphone tone. Try one, you will be impressed.

    Ease of Use:
This guitar comes set up by Gibson quality control. If you love Gibson set up you will love this guitar out of the box. The great thing about acoustics you can have them set to your liking. If the guitar is a half a grand or 3 grand , you may want to make thise tweeks that make it your guitar. Have fun, this is aan incredible guitar!

    Support:
Epiphone has affordable instruements with limited a lifetime warranty backed by Gibson MFG. What else do you want? They don't make house calls but then again thats a good suggestion, Yea babby.

    Overall:
I love this guitar, it has its own beauty and the sound is lovely. If you want a great playing guitar without all the fancy frills. This is your guitar.
