"Epiphone ES-339"

Sound:
I was pleasantly surprised by the sound. I fully expected to upgrade the pickups, but I have decided to leave the guitar stock, since they sound pretty good.
Feature:
I love the reduced body size. The split coils are OK, but I prefer a different sound for single coils. But the single coild do sound decent, albeit not Fendery.
Ease of Use:
Setup was OK, but after I had a pro set it up, the guitar leaves nothing to be desired - plays great!
Quality:
Quality is amazing at this price point. Too soon to comment on reliability, but it seems well-made with a great fit and finish.

Value:
I believe that this model is well worth the price. When they first came out, they were a hundred bucks more expensive, and that made me a bit reluctant to take the plunge. But at the lower price, this is one of the best semi-hollow values out there. I like everything about it.

Sound:
The guitar has a lot of punch and the pickups are very reactive. As of now I've pretty much only played it with some tube overdrive and chorus, but I expect that it will hold up very will to any effect I throw at it.
Feature:
The Grover tuners are a nice touch, the body size is perfect, and the neck is well finished and very playable. The coil-taps may come in handy some day, though right now I don't find them to be all that useful. I would love this guitar even without the coil-tap feature.
Ease of Use:
Very playable instrument, though not really a beginner's instrument. It's not fragile, though I hesitate to hand over any semi-hollow or hollow body guitar to a beginner.
Quality:
Made in China, really well made, hopefully will last me... well, until I can pass it down to kids of my own. I'm only 25, so that's a ways down the road.
Manufacturer Support:
Not sure, haven't had to deal with them yet.
Value:
Worth the price, especially if "blemished" just means that someone else didn't like it and returned it. If you can get it for $300, do it, if you have to pay the extra $100, do it. It's a great value either way.
The Wow Factor:
It's beautiful and sounds amazing. The pictures of the "Cherry" color do not do it any justice. This guitar is not cheesy looking at all, just classic and amazing.
Overall:
This guitar was a "blemished" product, though I can honestly say that I haven't found one cosmetic issue with the guitar yet. After polishing it up, the guitar looks and sounds flawless. I also work for a music company, but these were crazy back ordered, so I went through SDM and payed the "at cost" pricing for a "blemished" product without any blemish whatsoever. This was a great deal and I am so glad to have chosen Same Day Music.
