"If you love metal, you'll love this!!!"
When i first got it i liked the sound but decided an EMG 81 sett had to go in, and my god does it sound fine now. the bridge packs one hell of a punch, and the crunch on the neck is amazing. well worth saving the money, the pickups compliment this guitar perfectly.
The fixed bridge is a godsend, wheh i first got it i replaced the strings with some 10's and it took me about 7mins to do. The 3 way selector sustains the notes you strum when you switch, making the change very subtle when playing live.
i've had this since october last year and i love it, but i would recomend changing the pickups to something to your own style. also the nuts that hold the strap i changed them to locking nuts so i didn't risk dropping my guitar on stage. Sounds fantastic through my marshall rig, it was meant for metal.
i havn't had need to use it and i doubt i will, unless i want a custom job done on it.
I don't think i've seen a guitar of such a high quality for such a low price. thi sguitar is great for begginers and long term playing guitar folk like me. I would recomend in investing in better pickups if you're going for a certian style of music.
The Wow Factor:
Hell yeah! this guitar looks fab, and sounds amazing. it's got a very metal look to it, very James Hetfield.
Well i love this guitar so much i'm going to sell my older ones and rplace them with more of these guitars. I'll msack some EMGs in them and Change them to different tunings for recording different stuff. Thus guitar rocks, best guitar i've bought in a long time.
