"Very good guitar, even better value. "
Feature:Everything worked perfectly on mine. I have no complaints at all. There's 2 pickups 4 knobs, experiment 1 hour and should be able to find the sound you want.
Quality:
The quality is much improved over my 1st one 15 years ago, especially the quality of the pickups, a major improvement. If you like the Les Paul sound, I had no problem getting it, and to be quite honest, I was surprised. My first one I changed the pickups, but I don't intend to do that with this one. This sound recorded really well for me. Not far from the Gibson at less than 1000 you can't beat it
Value:
You cannot beat the Les Paul Custom for value. I recently bought a Gibson SG 61 reissue and sent back the Les Paul, and as much as I love the Gibson SG, the cost is way out of line when you can get the Epi Les Paul for a lot less. I also tried the Gibson Les Paul Studio and I really like the epiphone neck much more. r
Desirability:
I had it and should have kept it as a second guitar after my Gibson SG, since I paid so much for the SG I intend on playing it. One more thing if you play rock and do want a Gibson, I suggest the 61 SG rather than the LP Studio you get the same LP sounds, plus more tone. and a 60's slim neck
Sound:
The pickups on the Epi Les Paul are much improved over 15 years ago, the sound is as close to a Gibson as you can get without spending the big bucks.
Ease of Use:
Very easy to play, I had to lower the strings, but now it's fine. The neck is thin and fast.
Support:
Never needed it
Overall:
The sound is what sells me. but the appearance was great, not a flaw on the finish. It is a little heavy, and that's one of the reasons I got the SG.

"Lose your girlfriend but don't get in debt. Buy this:"
Feature:Ok... the jack input does have a habit of working loose... not a major problem. My expensive Jackson does the same.
Quality:
Can't spot any flaws as such. The gold does tarnish. I find a tiny amount of window cleaner on a soft cloth brings it up a treat.
Value:
You won't get anything better for this price.
Desirability:
I've got the Custom in white and it just made me walk in the shop and buy it. I'm now buying one in black and getting rid of my so-called better, more expensive guitars. You can just sit there looking at this guitar. It is beautiful.
Sound:
The sustain is fantastic for a guitar under

"Mo fo yo money"
Feature:It did not include a case. The only downside
Quality:
My amber tone top has not one blemish and looks beautiful.
Value:
worth buying against a gibson, unless you want to pay an additional 1000.00 for the same item..
Desirability:
It has all the appeal, but is not an american made Gibson. The only thing that would cause your heart rate rise a little higher.
Sound:
The sound and feel of this guitar rate with the more expensive Gibson. The feel across the frets is even more comfortable and allows your fingers to glide effortlessly.
Support:
Anytime I have bought an Epiphone I received great service on the piece.
Overall:
For the money, the best deal out there.

"Love Affair."
Feature:Wish it didn't have the notched bridge. It tends to break strings after awhile.
Quality:
If you play all the time as I do the gold wears off the tailpiece and bridge and pick ups.
Desirability:
I love the way it looks.
Support:
Have not had to deal with them
Overall:
I purchased this guitar in 1997, I had my choice of this guitar and an Gibson Les Paul Custom which looked just like it. Black and gold. Price wasn't a consideration. I just like the deeper more mellow tones of this guitar. I have played it ever since.

"Good guitar"
Feature:The features are simple: It's a Les Paul. Epiphone makes good guitars, it's gonna be just as good of a guitar as the $1,000 'cheap' Gibson Les Pauls, only it'll look better.
Quality:
It is NOT the quality of a Gibson....never think that.....But it is GOOD quality, and it's not jsut gonna randomly fall apart, just don't bang it into things.
Value:
It looks as good as a $1300 Gibson Les Paul. I said I'd pay up to $850, anything higher than that and you may as well just get a dang Gibson Les Paul, but it's definately worth what you're paying.
Desirability:
I'd make out with this guitar if it had a mouth and tongue.
Sound:
The sound is very good. Sure, of course it's not a Gibson sound, but you're paying hundreds of dollars less, this is DEFINATELY worth the money, great sound, good quality.
Support:
I don't own this guitar, but with other products, Epiphone's had great service.
Overall:
Good price, good guitar, good deal.

"The best $600 guitar on the market"
Feature:Compared to a Gibson LP, the volume/tone pots don't move quite as easily, but it's something you can live with. Also, the frets aren't quite as smooth, as the binding doesn't come up over the edges.
Quality:
This guitar is built solid. It is definitely roadworthy. I've abused mine and it's held up great. The finish was excellent from the factory and after MUCH use it's still beautiful. The gold coloring on the hardware has worn away in some areas, but I think it looks good that way. I have no concerns of the guitar letting me down on stage.
Value:
This is the best $600 guitar on the market. It's worth every penny. It is VERY similar to it's $2k cousin.
Desirability:
Mine is Wine Red. with Flame top. It's beautiful! That said, there's nothing new or innovative about how it's built. It's a Les Paul. It's a solid practical guitar.
Sound:
The stock Epiphone pickups sounded good until I replaced them. Then I realized they are a little muddy. Put Gibson pickups in this baby and you've got a great "poor man's" LP.
Ease of Use:
This is a very playable guitar. It was my primary stage guitar for 3 years. It only got bumped to "backup" status by a Gibson built just like it.
Support:
Never had to deal with warranty/repair issues. I think that's the best customer service of all!
Overall:
For top notch sound remember to factor 2 replacement pickups into the price. I expect that I'll keep this guitar until the day it just falls apart (or more likely, I tear it up.) When that day comes, I'll get another one just like it. I might pick a different color, and I might not.

"Well worth the Money"
Feature:Its got just as many things as the Gibson LP, everything. Just like the Gibson, this gutiar is perfect...
Quality:
This guitar has a mahongany neckand body, and an alder top. Keep in mind that TRUE Les Pauls have all Mahongany, but that is the where the weight difference somes into place.
Value:
This guitar is worth well more than what it sells for, way more. Plus there is a Life-Time Warenty on this baby.
Desirability:
Nothing has more "sex appeal" than a Les Paul, NOTHING. It is so close to the real thing, its sick. Everytime I look at it on the stand, It looks lonely and I just have to pick it up to play... It makes you wanta play!
Sound:
When you say the sound is good, I dont consider the pick-ups, cause if the sound of the guitar sux, then if any pick-up was on it, it would be bad. But even with the stock pick-ups this Epi kicks major butt. The only thing I thing I would change is the pickups, but thats only if you care about the little differences...
Support:
You would not believe the support that they gave me! They break there back to make you as happy as you can be! If you have a problem, they will fix it. Trust me
Overall:
This guitar is perfect for gigs, backtage warm-ups, practice, everything! It hits everynote, I have had no problems with it, and by the look of things, I never will. The only thing i would change is the pick-ups, but then again, that doesn't really change much. I LOVE IT, and so would you!

"Sweet guitar"
Feature:Two Volume, " Tone and a toggle switch. What more do you need?
Quality:
Looks and feels like the original, cosmetically beautiful.
Value:
Sweet.
Desirability:
I want it, so I bought it.
Sound:
Compare this to an original LP, which I also own, along with a fat strat, this I cant say is better, but it is definitely equal.
Ease of Use:
Doesnt sit as nicely as the strat on the knee, but who plays sitting anymore?
Support:
Unable to comment, havent needed it.
Overall:
Can't see me having to upgrade to a more expensive guitar, when i already have them.
