"You get more than you pay for!!!!"

This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.

Feature:
I would say that the pick ups were the weakest link. They are much better in the newer guitars. The best and only accessory is the case. Fully paded and snug fitting...perfect protection for this incredibly priced guitar.

Quality:
I have played USA made 335's and was not impressed with playabillity or sound, but to be fair my sheraton wasn't perfect at first. The shop where I had the pick ups installed said they couldn't believe how superior this guitar was built. I have to agree, the fit and finish is astounding. I play it so much that the gold is rubbing off of the bridge and stop tail piece.

Value:
If you want a good all around guitar this is it. I obtained mine as a stepping stone to move up to eventually buy a Les Paul, but the Sheraton II really changed my mind. I'll stick with it and save a bunch of money.

Desirability:
A white Sheraton II with multi-ply cream binding, gold hardware, red tortise shell pick guard, M.O.P. inlay work...awesome!!!!

Sound:
I have to say that the sound was very good with the stock pick ups but my Sheraton came to me used and I'm unsure when it was made, maybe 20 years ago or longer. One of the pick ups quit working so I had them both replaced with Gibson 500t and 498r with push pull volume pots to split the coils. I adore this guitar! I wouldn't trade it for anything. The guitar has awesome action, sound, looks, playability, and versatility. I use it for every style of music and it sounds like it naturally belongs.I play through a Yamaha DG-80 amp and use no pedals at all. Sound is NOW a 10!!!!

Support:
I have zero experience on this one.

Overall:
I think this question is already answered! If I lost it I would go get another one.

" Eyes pop when you take it out of the case."

Feature:
No accessories, just a lot of guitar for the money.

Quality:
Very well made. I don,t think you could find a better looking guitar anywhere.

Value:
I don,t think there is a better buy on the market anywhere,if you are looking for a thin-line guitar.

Desirability:
The guitar is very well made. The only drawback I have found is when you,re sitting down it is a little heavy in the bottom-end but that isn't a real big deal.

Sound:
This guitar has avery wide range of sound. The only thing I found with both of them that I owned was I had to smooth the frets, but even that wasn't a big deal. Overall it's a whole lot of guitar for the money. You can't beat it anywhere. This is the seconed one I've owned.

Support:
Both of the guitars that I owned were used. The first one was almost new. The seconed one has a little more wear, but nothing that affects the playablity.

Overall:
I have six guitars. This is the only thin-line I own. If any thing should happen to this one I would find another one. I like the guitars that much.

"Best Buy"

Feature:
Probably the best components for the price range. After a few years use, the gold plating on the pick ups is scratched and worn. Case is more than adequate. I was worried that a guitar made in Korea wouldn't stand up over time, however, I was worried about nothing. The neck is as straight as it was when I bought it.

Quality:
As mentioned before, these are probably the best components you'll find for the money. After a few years use, the gold plating on the pickups is scratched and worn down. The rest of it has held up very well. I couldn't be happier.

Value:
The Sheriton II is without question the best valued guitar of its type in this price range. Yes, you can spend 4 - 5 times the price for a Gibson, buy why? If you are looking for a working guitar with a smooth, blusey sound, this is the one.

Sound:
I've played my Sherton II for the past 5 years through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe tube amp. The sound is sweet, blusey and awsome. Don't know what it would sound like through a Marshall or other solid state amp, but after using a Fender, why even try? I use light guage strings
