Sound:
I have to say that the sound was very good with the stock pick ups but my Sheraton came to me used and I'm unsure when it was made, maybe 20 years ago or longer. One of the pick ups quit working so I had them both replaced with Gibson 500t and 498r with push pull volume pots to split the coils. I adore this guitar! I wouldn't trade it for anything. The guitar has awesome action, sound, looks, playability, and versatility. I use it for every style of music and it sounds like it naturally belongs.I play through a Yamaha DG-80 amp and use no pedals at all. Sound is NOW a 10!!!!
Feature:
I would say that the pick ups were the weakest link. They are much better in the newer guitars. The best and only accessory is the case. Fully paded and snug fitting...perfect protection for this incredibly priced guitar.
Quality:
I have played USA made 335's and was not impressed with playabillity or sound, but to be fair my sheraton wasn't perfect at first. The shop where I had the pick ups installed said they couldn't believe how superior this guitar was built. I have to agree, the fit and finish is astounding. I play it so much that the gold is rubbing off of the bridge and stop tail piece.
Manufacturer Support:
I have zero experience on this one.
Value:
If you want a good all around guitar this is it. I obtained mine as a stepping stone to move up to eventually buy a Les Paul, but the Sheraton II really changed my mind. I'll stick with it and save a bunch of money.
The Wow Factor:
A white Sheraton II with multi-ply cream binding, gold hardware, red tortise shell pick guard, M.O.P. inlay work...awesome!!!!
Overall:
I think this question is already answered! If I lost it I would go get another one.
