"Closest fit and feel to my 63 Pre-Cbs Strat of any guitar I have owned."
Feature:nice light weight, contoured body, soft v neck is sweeeeet. I prefer 10in. radius with taller frets for easier chording and string bends.
Sound:
Maple neck strat has a tone all it's own. Not like any other guitar. Best for Blues;rock;country; can do some metal but neds alot of boxes to get there. Awesome tone with all tude fenders and especially with tube marshalls driven hard with guitar vol on 9-10.

never had to use them
Overall:
owned mine for ten years. mine was daphne blue but faded to sea foam green. Thinking about getting another one.

Fender '57 American Vintage Stratocaster (Maple) Customer Review
Feature:Came with a tweed HS case and case candy (cord, old-type strap, "ashtray" bridge cover, optional 5 way PU switch, etc.)
Quality:
Nice wood and craftsmanship. 2-tone sunburst nitro finish is beautiful but fragile, so it will "relic" very nicely. Dependable? It is a strat - the best workhorse guitar on the market.
Value:
Definitley worth the retail price.

I have wanted one forever. It has mojo. Although not my main axe, it is my favorite because it is
Sound:
'57/62 pickups are awesome - capable of all the classic strat sounds you have heard before. Small frets take getting used to, but that's what they had in 1957. My main axe is a Les PAul Standard, and I use the '57 for all the "strat songs" we play. Love the nitrocellulose finish.
Support:
Fender has came through before for me. They need an email address for specific questions by owners, like other companies have.
