"Great American Tele vibe and sound at an attractive price."
Sound:
It has the Tele jangle I was looking for. I own a couple of Tele knockoffs that I like, and this one blows them away.
Feature:
Came with a Fender hard case. As far as features, two pickups, two knobs and a switch - not complicated. I like the fact that it uses Fender American made pickups.
Ease of Use:
Playing through a Fender Deluxe Reverb, I can go from country twang to thick, rich jazz sound. This guitar can do all the things I like to play - classic rock, funk, reggae, blues . . . .
Quality:
I've heard others talk about poor quality construction. This guitar has no visible flaws. The neck has a nice tight fit with no gaps. There are no finish flaws, and the hardware has a nice solid quality vibe.
Manufacturer Support:
I have owned a number of Fender products and have never had cause to require Fender service, so I am neutral on this one.
Value:
I am well pleased with what I got for the mondey - definitely a good value in my book.
The Wow Factor:
I like the matte, honey blond finish. I have heard that it wears rather quickly, which is a plus for me, especially on a Fender. I like the way a well used guitar looks.
Overall:
I have a number of other guitars, including two Tele knockoffs. This one is better, although it cost the same as one of them. I won't supplement it, but I won't be looking to replace it any time soon.
