"Returns can be winners"

Sound:
I bought this one as "blemished" with no info on what or where just an additional $300 discount ($1150 pricetag). When I got it I was astonished. It was still pristene. Sombody must have returned it but for what reason I will never know. The telltale was that the pickguard plastic protector was removed. The only mark I can find is a very small chip in the pickguard at the truss rod pocket. it took me a day to even find that. The tools and all paperwork was still in the sealed plastic bag. Action was great. Sound superb; batteries installed. Minor tuning and I was ready to play.
Feature:
All accessories were there. There was no marks on the case etc. It did not come with a cloth though. I have not used the included strap. The Shaller strap locks installed fit my strap locks on my straps.
Ease of Use:
Just a minor tuning after it stabilized in my playing room.
Quality:
Fender American Deluxe
Value:
I think I got a good one. Any return is a crapshoot but I rolled a winner.
The Wow Factor:
The active/passive toggle makes this ideal. The Jazz bridge pickup adds to its versatility.

Sound:
This Fender American Deluxe bass has a deep, clean sound. Great for hard rock blues and R&B. Nice low end and with the N3 noiseless pickup. It makes playing fun and smooth.
Feature:
The components on the Fender American Deluxe bass is great. I love the Pan Pot, treble boost/cut and midrange boost/cut. It included a case when you purchases instrument. I prefer a hardshell case to better protect my equipments. The features on the Fender American Deluxe bass need no extra changes.
Ease of Use:
Its easy to get great sound from this bass, just like any other instrument out there. You have to put the time to develop your sound and would be worth it in the end. The Fender American Deluxe allows easy to personal your style to your liking.
Quality:
Yes, I like the quality and craftsmanship that put into making the Fender American Deluxe bass. The cosmetic is awesome well design. this bass well be on the road, jams and performances. There's no worst aspect of quality for me.

Yes, friendly and courteous people. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They may needs and took care of the problem with ease.
Value:
Yes, its worth the price.

The sex appeal is average. The 3 color sunburst Fender American Deluxe bass is an eye catcher. Does bring attention and flare.
Overall:
I have been with fender for over ten years and continue to use Fender basses until I die or they go out of business. Fender makes quality basses that sounds good.
