"A well built, excellent functioning, and great looking rack mount tuner."
Feature:It has basic features like muting for silent tuning witch is footswitchable, calibration, inputs on the front and back as well as two outputs. I wish it had a mic for acoustic instruments.
Quality:
Its built well and I expect it to last a long time. It looks top notch with the brushed aluminum front. Most other rack mount tuners have plastic fronts.
Value:
For the price and quality its a great deal and has great value.
Desirability:
Its a very sexy product. The blue strobe lights add axtra flair to your rack and catch the ladies eye during the show and cause them to approach you after the show to ask what those lights were.
Sound:
It has no effect on my sound other than it helps me stay in tune.
Support:
Never dealt with Fender and hope I never have to.
Overall:
I believe this product will last me for years to come. If I lost it or it was stolen I'd find the fool who took it first and If I could not find him/her I'd replace it with another. I tried the Korg DTR-2000 and it was not any better in terms of the basics. Both tracked the notes fast and displayed them clearly. Both have strobe lights that help you tune to the exact pitch. Both have the all the basic inputs and outputs. The Korg has more extra features that only the most professional musician needs. Other than that the Fender will serve the needs of most musicians so I recommend it to any and everyone except those who have to have all the non essential extras.
