    "Guitar Man"

    Sound:
This guitar plays great with a light strings. Without being plugged in, the sound is very crisp. Not a traditional dread sound, but loud enough for small gigs. Plugged in, Sounds great! Love the electronic tuner. I play praise, slow rock, and country. I often use this guitar over my more expensive ones. This guitar was listed for $550.00 when I went to purchase it. When I went to pick it up, it had gone down to $399.00. I would have purchased it even at the higher price.
    Feature:
I gave the tuner a 10, along with looks, and solid spruce top.
    Ease of Use:
This guitar is very easy to play. I use a Fender stage 1600 and tune it into the acoustic mode, and get a great sound. Little feedback from time to time. Just have to tune down a bit. The pre-amp is very powerful, you get plenty of volume so you need not have to turn the volume up so loud. The manual was very clear. It came in handy, since I do my own set-ups. You will find this guitar is worth what you paid for, and sounds better than average in its price range.
    Quality:
I have had no problems with the cosmetics on this guitar, no loose parts It is a very dependable guitar, no problems on the road.
    Manufacturer Support:
So far, I have never had to deal with Fender. And I have had this guitar for a couple of yrs. I hope I never have to deal with them.
    Value:
Good selling price compared to guitar in this price range.
    The Wow Factor:
I find the type of woods used to make this guitar are very appealing. Different than your typical rosewood used on many guitars.
    Overall:
I would replace it with another Fender in that price range. Probably, would replace it with the same guitar.

"Awesome look and sound and performance on a working mans budget."

    Sound:
The bubinga wood produces a warm inviting sound that is also bright and balanced. the solid spruce top only enhances the hugeness of the tone. there is some fret buzz on the low E string that I believe can be fixed by a capable guitar tech.
    Feature:
the most prominent feature is the bubinga wood and how it contributes to the overall sound. Plus the aroma that the wood emits is something that can change my mood and put a smile on my face. But Im weird that way. The built in CHROMATIC tuner is a must for any performing musician especially those of us who use alternate tunings.
    Ease of Use:
The guitar is very accessible. the volume and tone controls are right where I need them. The action is not too high and easy on the fore arm and thumb. Bar chords are a cinch.
    Quality:
the finish is outstanding. Again the bubinga wood was finished beautifully when looking at both grains. The inlays on the the back just add a certain sort of elegance to highlight the woods. The neck is in just the right position, gold plated tuners are solid and responsive. The guitar will hold tuning for a good while but not overnight like some of my other guitars, but the built in tuner alleviates some of that headache.
    Manufacturer Support:
I am a Fender bender all the way. I own a tele and a Mexican strat. I have had no problems with any of these axes. With fender, if you know what you want in a guitar they sell so may varieties like signature models and specialty guitars that you can find one with the upgrades your looking for.
    Value:
    very well worth it
    The Wow Factor:
The bubinga shimmers and is very sexy. Even if the wood produced only have the awesome sound it looks different and apealing to the eye, and just knowing you are holding exotic African wood speaks for itself. the gold tuners and inlays dont make a guitar but they send a message that you care about what you put in front of you.
    Overall:
If enough money can be obtained there are definitely some awesome guitars that sound more heavenly that the CD-220sce. For the money and for what I need this guitar surpasses all my expectations. barring a winning lotto ticket i can see this axe as my only acoustic guitar for as long as stays in good working order. With Fenders reputation for exceptionally well built quality instruments, i don't see needing a replacement for quite a long time.
