"Expensive sounds, paltry price!"
Feature:
Included gig bag, I would recommend a hard case though if you are traveling with it due to the senitive nature of the satin finish, I've had mine less than a year and I already nicked with the gig bag zipper, oops!
Quality:
I feel that if I had to choose one of the guitars from all of my three this would be my favorite. It was set up perfectly right out of the box. More reliable than a best friend. Later I will probably change the pickups and the pickguard, a little too plain Jane for my tastes.
Value:
This is the best guitar for the money. Way better that a Mexican Standard strat in every aspect including the pickups.
Desirability:
The thing that first attracted me to this guitar other thatn price was the great red finish, not very durable but then again in a few years it will have that nice "relic" look in about half the time of a standard finish. I love the nice pale maple neck against the crimson body, it creates a nice contrast, sexy shine chrome hardware doesn't hurt it either.
Sound:
Great classic Strat sound, lots of hum but typical of Fender single coil pickups. Has a great clean sound but that it not to say that it can't talk dirty! It is a great value for the money. Has a great timbre even unplugged the true sign of a great guitar.
Support:
Never had to deal with Fender as far as any problems. I have ordered things from them though and had really good customer service.
Overall:
Overall a great guitar. Fender lineage with a Mexican price. What more could you want. If your a beginner and want that classic Fender sound this is your guitar or if your that seasoned player who wants to an affordable Strat to your collection check out the Highway one, you won't be disappointed.
