"The SECRET BARGAIN Fender Stratocaster"

Sound:

This guitar is a huge bargain! It is a Strat with Fender and Seymour Duncan premium pickups and custom tone wiring - all the mods you would naturally want to make to a standard Strat, installed, for only 100 dollars more! You get the Jimmy Vaughan tone control for the bridge pickup, A Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates bridge pickup, and two Fender Texas Special pickups which gives the guitar a really top notch sound. The 2nd position "quack" has been preserved as well. Wow. Additionally, the tinted neck is a nice feature.

Feature:

The best features are the neck, pickup set, the tone circuit mod and includes a nice gig bag.

Ease of Use:

This is the most flexible Strat you can but at any cost. What else is there to say?

Quality:

A very high level of fit and finish was evident, including mirror polished frets.

Manufacturer Support:

It's a Fender - the chance of needing support is almost none, but with Same Day Music and then Fender to back it up, you are covered. I have used SDM support once and they were PERFECT.

Value:

The feature set is the best deal for the money that you can get in Fender's lineup. Basically, you get 300.00 worth of extras, already installed for only 100.00!

The Wow Factor:

I got the Arctic White one and in the first few days I have received several unsolicited comments about how nice the guitar looks. I did not expect this benefit but it is nice!

Overall:

I've owned everything at least once, save for high end jazz boxes, including Fender Vintage Reissues (sweet), G*bson, S*hr and G&*. This instrument is a pro level instrument in every aspect. I love it. I wish it had the vintage tuners and a nitro finish, but that's my personal fetish...
