"Fender does it AGAIN!"
Feature:Good compression; D.I. very clean.
Quality:
Out-of-box quality is excellent considering point-of-manufacture; time and use will determine engineered quality
Value:
Considering the price and what you get. Time will tell, though.
Desirability:
I got it.
Sound:
Flexible tone; parametric midrange has very good freq. set points along with bass and treble controls. Fender did their homework. Excellent projection when combo is tilted back. Plenty of power; excessive application of bass tone can cause speaker farting at high volume.
Support:
Fender has been supportive in the past; I have no reason to suspect that Fender won't come through. Dealers can be a different story; G.C. and M.I. TAKE NOTES.
Overall:
With all the competition to get a musician's attention and all the annual equipment make-overs and "new stuff". Overall, this combo will meet my "bassic" requirements of making my Thunderbird, P and J, EB-3 and Yamaha basses heard by the band so we can give the audiences "da booty to groove".
