Style of Music: whatever. if it makes my heart beat, I'll play it.

Experience: drummer, active musician for decades now.

Sound:

To my untrained ears (I'm an old drummer so they're mostly gone) it sounds great. The only reason I'm not giving 10s is because I haven't worked with that much of this type of equipment to have anything to compare it to.

Feature:

Just the right amount of stuff. Nothing silly, no missing functions to make you cry.

Quality:

Impressive. Sturdy. Smooth operating controls. Reminds me of a BMW. Now that I've got mine I can say it could sell for twice the price and still be a good value.

Manufacturer Support:

No experience yet, but I read that Fostex is pretty good in this area.

Value:

Can't say enuf about value. I looked at everything and this is stand out. Benchmark stuff.

The Wow Factor:

This is the exact system I was hoping to find for our small praise band. We may even use as our main console.

I keep this. Mine now. step off...

Sound:

Being digital with 24 bit signal processing, the quality of sound reproduction is dependant of mic selection. This is to say, the unit's sound is as good as you can get.

Feature:

Because the unit does not rely on presets, but allows the engineer to tailor his own effects, maximum freedom is provided.

Quality:

The unit is sturdy and compact for all its capabillity.

Manufacturer Support:

I have not had to seek support and I doubt that I will find an insoliable problem.

Value:

Any unit which attempts to allow a high level of artistic expression would cost at least $1000.00 more than the VF1600.

Great sound in just about every area of recording, even off a dig. ans. mechn.

Feature:

The basic operation of the unit is straight forward, but editing is a little cumbersome.
