"Best choice for large keyboard transport by truck."

Feature:
The straps which hold the keyboard work well to limit movement within the case, and therefore no case fitting is necessary. However, as another reviewer mentions, these straps must be placed properly to prevent damage to the keys while transporting. I use two towels to keep the straps up off the keys. While most keyboard players place the board in the case with the keys facing toward the open side (as if we were going to play it in the case), I find that with this case, it works better to turn the keyboard around so the keys point toward the hinged side of the case. I then place a rolled-up bathtowel under each strap, between the board and the top side of the case, and attach tightly around the board. This elevates the straps so that they cannot touch the keys, but yet holds the board snuggly within the case, preventing movement.

Quality:
The case, fasteners, buckles, straps are all high quality and the manufacturing quality is excellent. There are two side straps, and one head strap, as well as 2 rollerblade wheels at the bottom end for rolling along. There are 4 case fasteners, with one drilled for a small lock if desired. It is made of hard plastic, and lined inside with padded cloth. Only the SKB is better, but again, it costs $200 more.

Value:
This is the best hard case value for large keyboards, like the Yamaha S90ES.

Desirability:
It is not sexy, but very utilitarian.

Sound:
This is a CASE folks. (The weaknesses of the "one form fits all" philosophy of this website is evident.)

Ease of Use:
I take points off because Gator does not share this important information with the buyer on how to properly strap-in your keyboard. My case came new in a box, and there was absolutely no paper with the case at all.

Overall:
This case is not an ATA flight case, but I'm not planning on shipping by board via FedEx in the case. It works very well for transporting my S90ES to and from a gig, and can ride in the back of a truck without worry of damaging my board. Common sense must be used as always when transporting valuable electronics, and the case is not indestructable, but then, that's not what I expected. Use the trick with the towels, and you will be quite happy.
