"Excellent value."
Feature:They seem a tad longer in scale than most, so they might squeeze onto some 35" scale basses. But maybe not.
Quality:
They stay in tune a long time. I often find that my bass is in tune from even the last ime i put it in the gig bag. Don't break easily.
Value:
What are these - $25? at least as good as DRs, and much cheaper.
Sound:
As a point of reference, Rotosounds are my fave, but these sound very good - strong and bright, and last a long time. Not as bright as rotos, but nearly so. that's saying something for me, because I play hard and have sweaty hands, which deadens string life quickly. i often have to boil strings nightly, but not so with these. Also, the .121 B string is a good choice - heavier than this usually sounds flubby on a 34" scale bass. This weight has good tone for a 34" B string.
Ease of Use:
Sound good out of the package.
Support:
giving them the benfit of the doubt - have never needed it.
Overall:
I've been using these for years, with occasional forays using DR, Dean markley, Ernie ball, fender and some others. For the money, these GHS steels are the best.
