"If you like clean tone, this string is for you."
Feature:Maybe it is only me, but string surfaces seem to get rough easily. It is smooth and fast at first, but they tarnish rather quickly. Other brands I use seem to keep the surfaces clean longer, although their sound is not quite close to this one. Again, it may depend on one's playing style.
Quality:
You will notice the difference even before you put them on the guitar. They feel stronger and heavier (even for the same gauge) compared to other brands and 'tighter' when installed. Resonance is excellent, and they stay in tune better, longer than other brands. They are also stronger than other major brands; I change these strings because of the tarnish but not because of break, unlike others.
Value:
I haven't found better quality strings (so far) for the price of $4.
Sound:
'Clean and clear' is the summary of the sound from this string. Although there are better strings for heavy metal, shining lead and solo sound, especially if you are Eric's fan, will really speak to you. Yet, sound is totally based on personal preference.
Ease of Use:
umm... it's string... It's pretty easy to use, I guess. ;)
Overall:
I am very pleased with this string and keep a stack of them everywhere. Just try one set, and you will love it (or at least you will know if you don't).
