"The greatest 45 year old in the world"

    Quality:
Gibson have really got their act together in recent years and are now making guitars which are as good as any they have ever made

    Value:
Quality is never cheap but this is a Gibson. It will hold it's value as well if not better than any guitar brand in the world.

    Desirability:
Think of all the players who have used Gibson ES series guitars over the years and you will see why this is one of the most desirable bits of guitar kit there is

    Sound:
One of the most versatile guitars on the planet, apart from total grunge there's no music that this can't handle with flair and authority. From mellow singing jazz through twangy country to ear ripping rock & roll and of course blues, as clean or dirty as you like. In the right hands one of these babies will out sustain a Les Paul.

    Overall:
However long you play however much you learn a Gibson ES335 will be there to inspire

    "The perfect Semi-Hollow!"

    Feature:
Like all Gibsons, this guitar is flagrantly overpriced. If they brought thier prices down (which is not likely but everyone has dreams) this would be a perfect insturment.

    Quality:
The one I played had loose knobs, and now and again the three-way switch stopped working. Other than that, however, the overall quality was exceptional.

    Value:
Like said before, Gibson needs to stop overpricing their instruments.

    Desirability:
Ach...this thing was seductive!!! If I were a rich man... I have a feeling that if I were to buy this guitar my SG and Mustang would get lonely...

    Sound:
I've played some semi-hollow guitars in my time, but this one has to be the best. The 57 classic pickups normally don't sound good to my ears but in this guitar they flat-out screamed. Played through a 50-watt Marshall and a 60-watt Fender, these guitars deliver the tone I was so desperatly seeking. Now I have to own one.

    Support:
    I've never had a problem with a Gibson so I can't say.

    Overall:
It is safe to assume that after buying this guitar I would only modify it and not replace it with a similar guitar, because in my eyes this is the best axe in its class.
