"Great Guitar, Great Value"

It is exactly what a classic Les Paul has always been.
It is a Les Paul which does not leave much room for feature differentiation... The baked maple fingerboard looks nice, feels nice, and is VERY practical. Typically, if I leave a new guitar out of its case in the winter, my dry house makes the fretboard shrink and exposes sharp fret ends that need to be repaired. The baked maple is completely stable and this guitar has been hanging on the wall since it arrived with no issues.
I have the gold top and the satin finish is a big step up from the worn finish on cheaper Gibsons. For a little more cost it looks and feels great. I would not buy a worn finish guitar; to my eye they are too ugly. Overall the guitar is executed very well and everything really looks and feels perfect.
I have contacted them in the past and they were quite responsive; sending a replacement tuning machine for my ES-335.
Definitely the best overall value in Gibson's Les Paul line.
The Wow Factor:
The gold top really looks like a regular gloss standard.
Only 7 lbs and all the tone and feel of a classic 50's Les Paul at a very reasonable price.
