"Get it. Get it NOW!!!"
Feature:Doesn't need gimmicks. If you have strings you'll be happy!
Quality:
It's a Gibson..'nuff said
Value:
These guitars actually increase in value over time.
Desirability:
Like I said before, it's a Gibson. Even a dumbass drummer knows what that means!!Just kidding guys!
Sound:
I finally made the leap to the world of awesome. Yes, its true, I am forever ruined and can never again own or even play an inferior guitar. Once one has picked up and actually played a Les Paul Standard the days of mediocrity are over. Gone are the days of wannabe instruments. But really folks, this guitar HAS A SOUL!!It has MOJO!!There really is a reason that those that can afford ANYTHING still elect to play THESE!!! It is an almost religious experience. I am sure that if one was to see GOD playing a guitar it would surely be a Les Paul Standard. Do whatever you have to do but get one of these.WARNING###do not play one unless you are willing to spend the money to get one
Ease of Use:
Yes,there is NOTHING AS COOL AS SOUNDING THE SAME AS ALL THE GUITAR HERO'S YOU GREW UP LISTENING TO BECAUSE THEY ALL PLAYED THIS SAME GUITAR.
Support:
24 hour customer service.I have never needed them for a guitar problem but they can tell you where your guitar was made and by whom and what the builder had for breakfast that day!
Overall:
I'm so glad I finally stopped messing around and just bought the damn thing. The single smartest thing I have done in quite a while.

"Pure peasure and sexyness in a body that fits your body"
Feature:I have had knockoffs and Fenders but this is like a carpenters best dream, craftsmanship is outstanding.Features are as written above(probably getting ahead of myself).
Quality:
I believe Gibson makes it's product with the intention of being on the road and therefor makes it rugged enough for travel and it's little mishaps but still allows the "Les Paul" quality to come through. I have had mine for I was 19 years old and am now 56 years old, so I believe it stands for longevity without question. A little expensive to have a backup, so I actually use an EPPY if my Les Paul needs reworking.
Desirability:
I would not say it is practical, but sure is the best sounding and sexiest guitar ever built, cudos to the original design and it continuation.
Sound:
I feel this is the best product gibson has ever put out! The sound is great with both the highs and lows available to any extent you want with the ease of tone and volume dials easily at hand and also the in/out switch for the pickups. Of course this doesn't exclude a good amp, but the capabilities are nothing but astounding, how much better can you get than a "Les Paul".
Ease of Use:
The sound is as capable as the player, modifications would/should be only to the pickups which are fantastic as is. Playability is also very easy though at timees I wish the neck was a little slimmer. As far as manual, I have no idea of any manual that would come with one other than neck adjust which is also pretty straight forward, however I believe this is something a guitar mechanic should do in conjunction with the player not something to be done by an individual player.
Support:
I really don't know on this one, as I have never had to deal with the factorry for service.
Overall:
I would replace it not seek another product. Sound and shape is the reason I bought this guitar and nothing can replace it. If I wanted another sound I would do it through pedals or sound master foot system.

"You get what you pay for."
Feature:Well both pickups have that Gibson sound. The bottom one is crisp and funny enough the top one is a soft kind of crispy. not muffled. You can get anything from this... A different blues from a strat, and a different whalling guitar than a Ibanez. Features are not extenive (like 3 pick ups in a strat) but it has all it needs.
Quality:
Just hold one. Even if you don't play guitar you can see and feel the craftsmanship. You know it's not just dead weight. Good Mohogany quality wood maple top.
Value:
You know why it's expensive?...........because it's worth every penny.
Desirability:
It sounds like your making it feel beautiful.
Sound:
The sound is devine if you can play. It does miracles with a player's touch. If you can't play, you'll hear your mistakes clear and crip as well, but if you can play it sounds like nothing else. Nothing. It's so sensitive to the sound, so crisp(espesially with a good amp like a Marshall like i have). It's just you and the guitar raw (The greatest sound you can get for me).
Support:
No problems in 6 years so far. Got it mainteneced from a Gibson certified shop but haven't had to contacet them
Overall:
I like it raw as it is. Fender Strats and Teles are also great. depends. But if you want to get lost in a guitar, it has got to be a gibson. Ibanez, well for the whalers with a fuzzy sound. Strats are great, as are Teles which are sensitive as well on their twangy sound as Gibson. But the sound of a Gibson... you can hear how heavy the guitar is... Solid. PRS is nice too. A bit smoother in sound, but if you can play a gibson, everyone feels the extra effort you put it.

"Quite simply the best guitar in the industry"
Feature:Great workmanship/quality parts. THe only thing I didn't like about it, is that when playing thru both pickups, either volume knob controls the overall volume. I'd like to be able to adjust the individual pick up volume seperately.
Quality:
not only does the Gibson Les Paul sound beautiful, but it looks beautiful as well. SImply the best Guitar (without a whammy bar) in the industry. If your guitar must have a whammy, I'd have to say the Ibanez Steve Vai model is the best.
Value:
Expensive guitar, but worth every penny.
Sound:
Killer Sustain, crystal clear, and ultra sensitive. THe only bad thing I can say about this guitar is that you CANNOT be the least be sloppy with your playing. This guitar's pick ups are so sensitive it picks up every bit of slop in your playing. Guess I'll have to practice harder.
Support:
Can't say, I've never had to call them yet.
