    "good price WITH A CATCH!"

    Sound:
The pups are pretty solid, it has that gritty raw gibson sound, the neck pup is really smooth and begs for soloing
    Feature:
i got the one with the gold hardware, over time the the gold does rub off and has the chrome under it. Its gonna happen over time and not covered under gibsons warranty. but its just fine it adds character.
    Ease of Use:
very easy to play... practically plays own its own. action is great with proper setup and simple adjustments are easy to do by yourself.
    Quality:
here is where i have an issue. the clear coat they use on the guitar is awful. when new sweaty hands and arms mixed with the clear coat creates this gummy paste that feels like a kid smeared gum on your neck and let it dry..... I have had the guitar over a year and STILL have this happening with the guitar.I play it roughly 3 hours a day and still have it creating this gum all over the body. its the clear coating they use to help it not get scratched as easy and its garbage for playability but good for making my guitar look like i just bought it still to the day. The neck is also pretty sad as well. its a very thick neck. I wear 3XL gloves and have pretty big hands. the neck feels pretty big to my hands and it has the clear coat over the fret markers on the side of the neck... THE NECK should not have ANY heat near it at all the clear coat cannot handle heat change and will cause the clear coat to SWELL causing the fret markers to crack the clear coat on the side of the neck and feel like glass on your thumb.. VERY poor call clear coating the fretboard and neck together. just dont take it outside in the cold then in a warm house.. the clear coat cant handle it and will spider out and look awful.. Thanks gibson for this huge FLAW
    Manufacturer Support:
not very helpful with anything but at least they sort of speak english.
    Value:
good price for a gibson my only real gripe is the clear coat. the sound IS very good and not as heavy as i had thought. i have been playing for over 25 years

    "Gibson quality for a Lefty!!"

    Sound:
This is a true Les Paul with a great look and feel. The sound emanating from my Studio(paired with a Blues Jr amp) is the classic sound I have been looking for. I have a MIM Strat and love the sound from it, but, the striking visual of the wine red and gold hardware and the classic, reverb soaked country blues sound I get from my Studio is just awe inspiring!! My songs just jump off the frets, almost playing itself. Totally amazing!! Being a lefty with a real Les Paul and getting this sound is great!
    Quality:
I can't find fault with this instrument, good fit, the action is superb. Gibson quality throughout.
    Value:
Could be better. Quality is there. Pricing for lefties, still not at all fair.
