"inspirational"
Quality:
these guitars last a lifetime if properly cared for
Value:
yes
Desirability:
this instrument is a part of musical history ,and anyone who looks at a guitar and gets turned on,must be looking at a gibson ...maybe with elvis behind it...true tone, great neck, nice body ....would string me along and make me fret ,pardon the pun .they are just a great guitar and many greats played them.
Sound:
individual crystal pickups, like takamine put in their guitars{ but unfortunatly they have the patent for that) but fiberoptics have come a long way to transmit information there should be a way to use fiberoptics in a pickup to conduct sound as gibson is my choice for tonal quality and j45 is my favourite, how about coming out with fiberoptic strings? glass core and then wound .expensive undertaking but something new, comes out everyday, and you cant improve the gibson
Support:
gibson have always been good to deal with ,an old-fashioned thing called pride.
Overall:
i played a 1958 j45 for 10 years, and it belong to an ex husband ,we used to be a duet ,darn the guitar was his,the kids were mine ,so i took the kids, but the guitar was made in nazareth and the tone was beautifull,i cant afford one ,remember i took the kids
