"GET THIS GUITAR,ITS GREAT!!"
Feature:My favorite accessory is the bisby vibrato. It doesn't give too much vibration but just right. I think the lease useful features on the guitar are the thumbnail inlays. they are kind of difficult to see when you are standing with the guitar. I wish it had more tone controls.
Quality:
all the gretsch double jets i played had no loose parts or anything wrong with it. Tough guitar
Value:
i think it had a great price for the guitar. The price was the same every were i looked
Desirability:
The first time i saw the guitar i fell in love with the look then when i played it i wanted it
Sound:
i for one love this giutar, i love the unique sound that comes from it. I have played the giutar many times and i pick this particular model over any of the others. It lets me get the sound that i want, (pretty much the same sound that came from malcom young in ac/dc). I personally like the guitar with a lot of treble and medium distortion. I really like the way it sounds with the marshall mg50 amp. I love the shape of the body and I really like the head of the giutar. I am planning to get the guitar for my birthday from my parents.
Support:
THE PEOPLE WERE NICE ANSWERED THE PHONE QUICKLY AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS
Overall:
i would play it for 5 years then get a new guitar, but never get rid of it

"Add some vintage sparkle to your gig..."
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Classic Bigsby, quality METAL knobs and toggles.
Quality:
Fit/finish you would expect from a Gretsch. Awsome retro silver sparkle!!
Value:
Would have bought it at twice the price.
Desirability:
Looks like it time warped from the '60's.
Sound:
Full range thanks to the multiple combinations. Rich rhythm to bright leads. Extends well with a digitech effects pedal too.
Support:
Not needed
Overall:
Are you kidding me? I'm a collector; I'll soon need another "fix"

"Beware of buying a Gretsch guitar online before PLAYING it!!!!!!! Espesially the cheaper Electromatic's!!!!!!"
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
The strap holders are cheezy.
Quality:
O.K. here we go, The first thing I noticed when playing it was the nut was cut wrong. The A string was alot closer to the D string than it was to the low E string. Not proper spacing. Also whenever using the Bigsby it goes out of tune. Not that I use it during normal playing but, it was there so I tried it out. I wish they would do something about QC and check things like this out. I would like to see an optional tailpiece that would eliminate the tremlo.
Value:
The sound I was looking for is in this guitar. I was dissapointed however in the nut problem so, without further playing I cant say for sure. It would be nice if it had "hotter pickups" also. But thats just for my type of playing. I'll just crank the volume a little more. Overall, the sound is nice. Just a good Gretsch sound.
Desirability:
The style of the guitar is exactly what I was looking for. Something you dont see everyday, strats, les pauls,.........
Sound:
The sound is the classic gretsch sound. The sound I was looking for! See quality for further details.
Ease of Use:
See below!!!
Support:
?? Dont know yet, I'll find out in a few days.......
Overall:
If I find/get a replacement for this guitar that is acceptable, I would play it almost exclusively. I like things that are different.
