"Replace your tubes-even if they dont need replacing"

Sound:
Replaced a set of 12ax7 (sovtek) with these which are actually gt-12ax7r classic style russian tubes. The mud in the sound went away and desireable crunch/harmonics were improved when tube is driven to about 90% capacity. The tubes that were in the amp were not old but the sound just didn't seem right. Amp is a Peavey Classic 50 and I would reccomend the amp and these tubes to anyone.
