Sound:
When you turn the unit on its DEAD quiet, until a signal comes though so dont let the silence fool you! There is zero static or interferance ! Just crystal clear audio. We baught this to get away from bulky floor wedges and constant issues with feedback, those issues are far behind us now, we can all hear the vocals perfect now! It was well worth the money. You have only one chanell however so the mix has to be done at the board, once set your good to go. It has fantastic sound!
Feature:
The unit came with everything needed to get up and running, even batteries for the body packs and the Rack mounting hardware! My only reason for rating this a 9 is that the ear buds that come with it are not of good quality and I didnt expect them to to be so be prepared to upgrade and get a good pair, trust me its well worth the money for a quality pair od in ears ! especially for the Bass responce. I baught the unit for the band but each member is on there own to buy ear buds!
Ease of Use:
This is very easy to use, you just plug it in to your Aux sends on your board, you can use one but two is better as the back of the unit has two inputs, Doi yoursef a favor and set the switch in the back to mono straight away and leave it there ! The stereo setting doesnt sound as good or clear. Also leave the volume switches on the back of the unit at twelve oclock. Your good to go and your adjustments will be made on your aux sends and on the body packs themselves.
Quality:
No problems, everything seems very well made.Like anything else take care of the body packs !
Value:
4 body packs , a unit and rack mount? for under $600?? its a no brainer ! this is a fantastic deal and is more than adequet for a local gigging club band like us, it does the job we need it to do and does it well ! Buy some rechargeble double AA batts and your in buisness ! A set of batts last's us for about 4 to 5 hours , plenty for a full nights gig !
The Wow Factor:
If your thinking of going in ears this is a great bargain and a good place to start! Forget Nady, this unit is far better quality !
Overall:
Hopefully it lasts a long time, we are all very happy !
