"Market is cornered...unfortunately."
Feature:I bought this product because of the features. Lightweight, small, portable, powerful, AND can power a satellite hotspot VC (which I also happen to own). To be honest, if there was a comparable sized monitor available from, say, a Yorkville or equivalent, I'd never have bought this Galaxy, but it's the only one available with these features that I could find.
Quality:
Feels solid except the carrying handle looks primed for breakage. It's held on by two little screws. I cannot tell if the strap is re-enforced or not. If it isn't, I see it tearing off in, say, less than a year for sure. On the bright side, it's small enough you don't really need the handle :)
Value:
I think it's overpriced for the performance, however, since I could not find any real competition in this range, I guess they can justify the price until another mfg (Yorkville for example) realizes how many of these are selling and decides to make a better one.
Desirability:
Features are unmatched and it looks great on paper, however, the sound quality for anything other than a close proximity vocal monitor or public address system is lacking.
Sound:
If you're considering this product, realize that it is NOT a good match for reproducing full range music. I would suggest this product only as a close proximity vocal monitor. I'm using it as a vocal monitor for karaoke, and it seems to do well enough for that. For the most part, you don't need to reproduce much bass on stage anyways, as bass is usually over prevalent and you need to cut thru that mud via the mid range frequencies. This unit does that well, but do not consider it for anything else.
Support:
Haven't used it. Hope I never have too, but...
Overall:
I will probably keep this unit until it dies, or until Yorkville or equivalent builds a better one and sells it for under $200.

"Good little monitor"
Feature:Plug in and play. I could use it by itself for some small, public address situations.
Quality:
I have a new one, and the speaker stopped working last week. I don't know whats wrong yet.
Value:
For personal monitoring, I haven't found anything better that can fit in a shoe box.
Sound:
great monitor for live aplications...especially if you are not moving around too much. It gets VERY loud, and can power passive ones for 'surround' monitoring. Of course it doesn't reproduce much for lows, but I can hear my voice and keyboards loud enough to make my ears bleed.
Support:
don't know yeat really.
