"Great product to use for new and professional DJ's who are tired of using CD and Vinyl"
This reviewer purchased this item from Same Day Music.
Feature:
It included some useful accessories, but wish it came with an instructional video for Virtual DJ 3.
Quality:
This product was great and still is great after its 1st use. As far as cosmetics, it still takes a beating and have had no problems when it take it on the road for shows. The parts on the Hercules MK-II are exposed so make sure you use the plastic see-through protective cover when not in use or when traveling. The jog wheels that control the scratching can get a little tight so make sure all the knobs are fully functional.
Value:
This product is perfect for all who either want to DJ or for professionals. It really saves time on lugging CD cases or Vinyl records to different locations. Whats even better is that you don't need a power cord for your turntable which frees up a lot of room for you to freely mix.
Desirability:
The appeal of this turntable is not attractive from the outside but once you get behind and start mixing, all that changes.
Sound:
The sound quality for the Hercules MKII is great but mainly depends on the audio source you are using. I use this turntable to mix music on my radio show and it has a great sound when streaming out of the internet. For recording, it also varies on the product you use to record your mix with.
Ease of Use:
Its mainly easy to get great sounds from Virtual DJ through Hercules sound card but it depends on the software and sound equipment that you have.
Support:
I have not personally dealt with the company yet due to the longevity of the turntable. Virtual DJ has an online website that you can go to for updates on its software and extras.
Overall:
I expect to use this turntable for a long time and will use this personally for my mixtapes. I also purchased the new Hercules Pro Remix and will use that for my radio show mixing.
