"Compact but packs a punch!"
Feature:I like the removable casters and recessed handles. Mine came with an adjustable dial for the tweeter.
Quality:
Very well made and solid, easy to move around and lift. Plus, it looks cool.
Value:
Unbelievable value, sound for the dollar.
Desirability:
Did I say that it looks cool with the aluminum cones and smooth slant front?
Sound:
I'm glad I bought this cabinet when I did. I have been looking for a 2-12 cabinet for a while. I have 3 basses. My main bass is an Alembic Rogue 5 string and it sounds great through this cab. I'm currently using a SWR 400 bass head. The low B on the bass sounds warm, focused and tight. I love the punch of the 12's and I like the dial for the tweeter. The frequency response for a small cabinet is impressive. I have used Ampeg SBT w/ 4-15's and SVT's w/ 8-10" cab, Mitchell cabinets w/ 4-15" JBL's and my last rig was a Bose Tandem Tuned Subwoofer w/ an 802 top. This Hartke holds it's own in the tone department!
Ease of Use:
The flexibility of tones that I can get with this cabinet is unbelievable. My Alembic has unlimited tonal possibilities and it sounds great with this cab.
Support:
Haven't had any issues yet.
Overall:
I'm not selling this cabinet anytime soon. It will be with me a long time.

"Tres Bien"
Feature:Its got everything i need, speakertron conectors, and a switch from on, off, and medium for the tweet.
Quality:
I've always been a fan of hartke never had a problem with them.
Value:
Cheap and high quality it meets my standards
Desirability:
It looks good cause of its unusual design.
Sound:
Cranks out the best sound i've seen. The tweeter is especially good and helps me get the throaty sound i want will slapping still sounds crisp because of the aluminum cones. The size of the speakers is perfect giving them enough time to recoil for that punchy tone. I personaly think 15's r too big while 10's don't have enough tone.
Support:
Their website is pretty good but thats all i can say.
Overall:
I would buy this again and again it is perfect even for gigs with my harke 3500 head.

"Hartke 2200 Bass Cabinet...Outstanding tone, style and portability!"
Feature:The 2200 is equipped with 2-12 speakers and an atenuated horn. The horn is smooth sounding and the ability to set it for your preference is a bonus! The cabinet is on detachable wheels and is very portable. It has stylish good looks and a big sound!
Quality:
Craftsmanship is surpurb. The cabinet with it's beautiful silver speakers, birch baffle boards and outstanding curved front grill has a modern design that is guaranteed to turn heads. The carpet covering is neat and the detachable wheels are a bonus!
Value:
The cabinet is fairly priced anyway but since I bought the cabinet from this site....it was an even better deal!
Desirability:
The 2200 is a piece of art! No more square boxes and dull looks. With it's curved front, stylish aluminum speaker and thoughtful placement of the front ports and horn, this cabinet should win the award for Best Cabinet Design. Totally innovative! Someone finally did it..Hartke!
Sound:
All bass cabinet manufactures have tried an failed to build a 2-12 bass cabinet but Hartke has finally egineered the first 2-12 cabinet that has all the answers. The cabinet has 2-12 inch aluminum speakers...one firing upwards where the player can actually hear what he is doing and the other in a seperate ported chamber firing at floor level for coupled bass resonance. This cabinet not only sounds focused and prescise, it has the bottom end of most cabinets twice it's size. Trust me.. I have had them all!
Support:
Hartke takes care of it's customers....and besides, used properly, you will never have to call them anyway!
Overall:
I have owned dozens of amplifiers and cabinets and have searched forever for a smaller portable cabinet that could produce the bottom end and still boast focused accurate sound and tone. This is that cabinet! The other manufactures are still porting on the back of their smaller cabinets and depending on the venue and placement this can be benefical or a curse. Hartke had the sense to port from the front and that means that the lower frequencies will couple to the stage floor forward where it ought to be. I am just amazed by the quality, design and tone of this cabinet. An absolute winner!
