    "Hartke 3500: a great value"

    Sound:
Great for on stage preforming. Full, rich bass... and never muddy. Between the tube, and solid state preamps and 10 band eq there isn't much of any sound you can't get.
    Feature:
The ten band eq is very nice. The compression in my mind is top of the line. Not a whole lot of features (no mute, no effects besides compression) but the ones included will make you very glad you bought it at one time or another.
    Quality:
I've had only one problem with it which wasn't the fault of amp, really (other people f--king with it... grrr) As long as its in a case and not abused, it is an extreamly dependable amp. Look around at other reviews and you'll see the same thing.
    Manufacturer Support:
never had to deal with the company.
    Value:
You can't find more power and tone at a better price.
    The Wow Factor:
LEDs, a tube... gets my jucies flowing that's for sure:)
    Overall:
Good tone, sounds great, dependable. If you don't have tons of cash to spend, make sure you give the 3500 a look.

"Been playing 75% of my life. I know what I'm talking about."

    Sound:
Very good tone capability. Plenty of volume. I use a zoom pedal and a chorus with the amp. Have not used a better amp to date. Have been playing for thirty years. When the time comes to replace the amp, will most likely go with a step up in the Hartky line, possibly the 7000. Can't remember being more pleased with a piece of equipment. The other members of the band seem to feel the same way about my sound.
    Quality:
I have experienced some problems with the transformer mounting screws comeing loose, and the tube side of the preamp quit working(and it's not the tube, I changed it twice). I feel it is road worthy, although I wish I could trust it more not to break down. I still use it because I love the sound of the amp.
    Manufacturer Support:
I attempted, some time ago to, download an operators manual from the internet and was having some trouble. I used the "contact us" feature of the web site to ask how to go about getting a manual to the 3500, not really expecting much. Less than two hours after I got offline, someone from Hartke called me on my home phone. I couldn't believe it. They assisted me in downloading one off the website.
    Value:
The equipment is very competitively priced.
    The Wow Factor:
    pleasing appearance. functional design
    Overall:
I will use my 3500 until it ceases to function, and would like to replace it with a step up in the product line. That, for me, is the most complimentary thing that can be said for your products.

Style of Music: Both types: Rock and Roll

"Hartke 3500 is the total package."

    Sound:
Sounds great--very versatile. Power to spare, and with two preamps, a 10-band EQ, compression, and low- and high-pass filters, you can get anything you want out of it. I play it with a Hartke 410XL and a Peavy 115 in small-to-medium clubs and this thing is LOUD.
    Feature:
As noted, many tone-shaping tools, effects loop, direct out, etc. I wish it had a tuner out, though.
    Quality:
Everything solid and dependable. I've been playing out for three years with it and it is rock steady. However, I have had it in a rack since I got it, but I'd recommend that for anything you're gonna take on the road.
    Manufacturer Support:
    Never had a problem.
    Value:
No comparison. I shopped around for a while and the 3500 is way better than anything at this price. Great for any gigging musician.
    The Wow Factor:
Very practical. Great value. Great sound. Reliable. What more do you need?

Hartke Model 3500 Bass Amplifier Head Customer Review

    Sound:
smooth warmth sound, gives the perfect groove, excellent with fender p and rick bases, a most to have!
    Manufacturer Support:
this is the area where hartke needs to work harder, support is non existing
    The Wow Factor:
if you put the amp on top af an 8x10 cabinet, looks to small, even the size of the product is correct, should be more balance understanding that it gets lost on top of this monsters
    Overall:
hard to tell, my next buy might be another brand, mainly looking for other color and sound, but the quality is good for the price.

    "Great amp under $500"

    Overall:
This amp is great, I run mine with Hartke's xl115 and it's everything that I've wanted in tone, deep and punchy with that ever so important mid-range "growl". I play with a Stingray 5 and this combination kicks ass, full range tones with presence to be heard no matter how loud everyone else is playing. If you're looking for a head, try this out, I traded in my ampeg stack after I played though this head.
