"Good product, awesome price...end of story."
Quality:I've had no problems whatsoever. I have four 4-string basses and one 5-string...all have the Hartke strings. Gigging every weekend, they hold up to the pounding and at about $7 a set, not a big deal if you break one or two (as I do quite often). After they start sounding a little dull, I boil them and clean them off...good as new. Best bang for the buck...and road tested here.
Value:
Can't get any better than a good set of strings for $7. I'll put these up against any string out there...nothing compares to the combination of quality and price.
Sound:
These strings sound as good as any other string out there.
Overall:
I've been using these Hartke bass strings for two years...playing gigging just about every weekend and practicing 2-3 times a week. I see no reason to go shopping for different strings...very satisfied.

Feature:
These things tore up my hands.
Value:
since they are cheap they get a 5
Sound:
These strings are the worst strings I have ever played with. Very very scratchy. Hartke should stick to making amps. Do not buy these.
Ease of Use:
