"The strings for a 5 string bass i have ever used."

Feature:
Although the strings have exceptional sound quality, i was disappointed when the A string snapped at the bridge while i was stretching up the strings. this was probably a fluke for thet particular pack of strings.

Value:
Top grade strings for a mid grade price

Sound:
I have used almost every string out there, and the Hartke's sound exceptionally amazing. E The low B string had the most outstanding clarity of any low B i have ever heard. Especially for slapping and popping, the strings dont have a harsh tinny sound like other strings. It kept the slap and pop sound but without the harsh metal touching metal sound.
