"Only God can create a better tone."
Feature:The voicing dial allows great variation in tone. The Tube Factor gives a great boost to you clean sound, factor 1 initiates a fat chunky distortion (in which the output and sitortion level can be adjusted) while Factor 2 sends your gear into OVERDRIVE!
Quality:
It's tough, durable and cosmetic design looks as though you could drop a tonne of bricks on the thing. Looks like it will last for decades. The interior blue light gives a great affect and will certainly gain attention from onlookers, while the 'buffed' stainless steel finish looks tough.
Value:
I would have no issues paying for a second pedal if lossed or stolen
Desirability:
It's as cool as they come. The interior blue light gives a great effect that will certainly gain attention from onlookers, while the 'buffed' stainless steel finish looks tough.
Sound:
Awesome! Want great tone? Look no further. My music style is various, but in my band we play Rock / Alternative music. I use an Ibanez guitar, customized with Semour Duncan pickups, a Fender hotrod delux and a Visual Sound 'Liquid chorus & delay' pedal. What can I say?? After years of using multi-effects units and struggling to find that sweet yet fat tone the Tube Factor blew me away!
Overall:
I love it! If it's tone you're looking for it's tone you'll find in this pedal. It even enhances the tone of the other pedals in your setup. I can only see myself adding, never replacing the Tube Factor. I've never been hapier with my setup and equipment and it's the most basic it's ever been. The Tube Factor, ironicaly is one of the main 'factors' in my new fat, chunky yet sweet rock and roll sound.

"Best purchase I ever made!"
Feature:it has 3 knobs output, drive, and Voice! Also has a tube drive button and a (full) distortion button which are great! You can use just the tubes with another pedal for boost and the full distortion is great.
Quality:
Incredible all around
Desirability:
Wanted it and got it
Sound:
This pedal has changed my sound compeletely and I love it. I seriously can not understand how any one would not like this pedal. I had a Boss Metal Zone for the last 10 years and was looking for milder, warmer distortion tones with a nice tube sound. This pedal was not only what I was looking for, its more. I use the tube switch with the metal Zone on and it was out of control. i had noidea this would also make metal Zone sound like a boogie or Marshall stack. This pedal is one of the best purchases I ever made.

"Please listen to the professionals...not the wannabes! This pedal Is off the charts!!!"
Feature:I doesn't need any "added" features! gain - cool voicing-cool Nuff said!!
Quality:
P to P wiring direct from Germany... Again, nuff said!
Desirability:
Glowing blue H&K LOGO!!! ;-)
Sound:
Well, after reading other reviews... Let me start by saying: I 've owned every pedal mentioned including the tone bone and the Jeckyl&Hyde (what!?) to put the H&K piece in the same league is ludicrous! Try different tubes if you are looking for a different style saturation. Read bout and understadn tube logic b-4 you make a blanket statement like "this pedal is crap!"
Support:
Have never, ever e-mailed and not gotten a response within 24 hours...e-mailed re: tube replacement! HINT>>>>12AU7
Overall:
One last note... I have an Original Ibanez Tube King (not a screamer) Currently it has a 12ax7 in it...These 2 pedals run in tandum yield the creamiest lead tone I have ever experienced. I am from the "Guitar god school of lead tone" Tone is everything...period!
