"Best purchase I ever made"

Sound:

The sound is excellent. I consider myself beginner/intermediate, but hearing me play this guitar has really impressed a lot of people.

Feature:

Beautiful guitar, much better than the photo shows(I have the dark purple one). So pretty, in fact, that, when not being played, it stays on the stand in my living room rather than in the case.

Quality:

Nice workmanship and a beautiful instrument throughout. I have absolutely no complaints.

Manufacturer Support:

I called tech support once--they were very nice and helpful.

Value:

I think its a beautiful guitar with a great sound. Its an excellent value--one of the best purchases I've ever made.

The Wow Factor:

Unquestionable a "10".

Overall:

I might try lighter strings one of these days, as many people do. But, since I'm so satisfied with the sound exactly "out of the box", I'm in no rush to experiment. I was apprehensive about buying a guitar online, without trying it out. But the reviews here and elsewhere really helped and I am extremely satisfied with this choice (including the color, which was also a big variable at the time). I'll be keeping this guitar a long, long time.

Style of Music: A mix of Alternative, Jazz, and folk

"Awesome, awesome guitar"

Sound:

I love the sound. Its not too bright. The only problem is that it isn't very loud unplugged (its a thin guitar), but then again, thats why its an AE. It sounds amazing plugged in. I play a very rhythem oriented, precussive (think dave matthews) style of guitar and the instrument suits that style well. I use Elixir Lights for strings.

Feature:

The pickups are very good. I also like the tuning machines. They hold very well. The guitar has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides (back is arched). The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fretboard.

Quality:

Very good quality. The finnish is good, and the guitar is solid. i'm def. not affraid that I'll break it. The only downside is that there is no pickguard, so i would not recommend this guitar for those who tend to chew up their pickboard...ya might put a hole throught the thing :)

I have not had any problems with the guitar as of yet...

Value:

Awesome guitar for the money...

The Wow Factor:

This guitar is HOTT. The fire rosette is beautiful and the mahogany stands out nicely.

I will wear this baby out...I absolutely love it.

Style of Music: Classic Rock

"am i dreaming"

Sound:

awesome guitar. I had played in bands for years and put my guitar days behind me. ....Well so i thought. Just picked this one up and it sounds and performs like a 1000 ++ guitar.

Feature:

great sound thru the amp as well by itself

Quality:

not one bad spot. glue seams are also perfect. solid top.

Style of Music: Finger picking style, anything form classical to "rock"

Sound:

With the mahogany back and sides and a maple top, this guitar has an incredible midrange and a sweet sustain! I use mostly a fingerpicking style and this guitar responds far better than the MANY others I tried before selecting my Ibanez.

Feature:

I ordered the Ibanez case made for this model. Overall, for the price you cannot get a better guitar.

Quality:

No problems whatsoever! I have the black in color model. Now I have to be honest, black wasn't my first choice but it was the only color they had. Although after playing this, I had to have it. There was no comparison.

Manufacturer Support:

I have not had to use the support as of yet.

Value:

Like I said, I played many other brands and price ranges. This model, by far, was the best...no contest!

The Wow Factor:

When I take this guitar out, with the rosewood design around the sound-hole together with the black color, gets a big response. People always love it. I mean with the high polished black; how can you argue with Johnny Cash?

Overall:

I expect to be playing this for a long long time. The ONLY guitar I played that I liked better, if I'm being honest, was an 800 series Taylor. But then again I saved myself about $3,000.00!
